Polyester molding material compositions containing hindered amine light stabilizer in combination with antioxidants and phosphites show a synergistic effect manifested in improved stabilization and weather resistance of the polyester material. A polyester composition contains 0.01-5 wt.% of an SiHALS-stabilizer (where HALS denotes hindered amine light stabilizer) of formula (I) and 0.01-10 wt.%, relative to 100 wt.% of polyester composition, of a stabilizer mixture consisting of at least one antioxidant based on a hindered phenol, at least one phosphite, at least one wax, and optionally at least one non-siloxane containing SiHALS-stabilizer. n = a whole number other than 0; m, p = whole numbers; n+p+m = is 50 at maximum; R<1>, R<3> = 1-10C alkyl, 5-10C cycloaliphatic or phenyl; R<2> = a group of formula (II); R<4> = H, Me or benzyl; R<5> = linear or branched 1-7C alkyl; R<6> = H or Me; q = 0 or 1; and Z' = an oxygen or nitrogen function. An Independent claim is also included for electrical components, including coils, plug connectors, sockets, gear wheels, levers, hinges camshafts, friction bearings, jackets and casings, and coatings for electrical components and equipment.
