<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the running and equipment costs of apparatus by performing concurrently both denitrification and dust collection for waste gas in a layer consisting of a mixture of a denitrification catalyst and a dust-collecting filter medium. CONSTITUTION:The mixture 1 of a dust-collecting filter medium of a small grain size and a denitrification catalyst of a large grain size is packed in the layer 2 made of a porous and ventilative material. And, dust-containing gas to be treated is introduced from the inlet 4 and clean gas is exhausted from the outlet 5. The dust- soiled mixture 1 is taken out of the roll feeder 6 below the layer 2 and then separated into the catalyst and the filter medium by the vertically two-staged vibrating screen 9. The catalyst is sent to the regenerator 10 and the regenerated catalyst is again mixed with the filter medium taken out of the lower stage screen 9b by the mixer 11 and then recycled to the inlet 8 at the upper part of the layer.</p> |
