<p>New type of valves for internal combustion engine, said valves being embodied by sliding sheet-like elements which are concealed when they open so that they do not interfere with the flow of the intake or exhaust. The valves may have any shape, preferably oval. At their front part, the edges of the sheet or lamina are seats having any shape, preferably a wedge shape, and at their side part the edges are seats and guides; at their final part they may have a flange extending totally transversally in order to ensure sealingness (figure 1 and 2). These valves may be actuated by various types of mechanism (any mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic, electric or electromagnetic system) which can be controlled by a computer, thereby enabling a totally variable timing when programming the appropriate timing for each number of revolutions per minute of the engine.</p> |
