Automotive clutch pedal with return spring

An automotive clutch pedal (2) with a lever pivots against a fixed point (6). An attachment links a point on the pedal with the clutch mechanism. The clutch pedal moves against the force of a return spring (11), which increases progressively during pedal travel to a dead point, and then reverses. The return spring consists of two concentric coil springs.
