<p>The invention relates to a device for protecting spoked wheels (22) which comprises two flaps (2) each of which is provided for covering the major portion of the side surface of the spoked wheel, where with the flaps are operatively associated connecting means for providing connections with respective spokes of the spoked (9) wheel. The invention relates moreover to a method for making a device for protecting spoked wheels, which method comprises the steps of: heat sealing to each of said flaps a respective flange (3); fitting each of said flaps to a respective side of the spoked wheel; securing each of said flanges (3) to a pair of spokes near a crossing point thereof; and clamping peripheral portions of each said flap to the spokes of the spoked wheel.</p> |
