<p>The carrier of a DMT demodulator-modulator system is divided for allotment among data communication devices (2b1-2bk) of a system (B) on a subscriber side. For instance, four subcarriers (ch10-ch13) are allotted to the data communication device (2b1), the next four subcarriers (ch14-ch17) for the data communication device (2b2), the next four subcarriers (ch18-ch21) for the data communication device (2b3), and so on. As a result, data communication devices (2b1-2bk) can simultaneously receive data, for example, from data communication network (N2) through a system (A) on a station side, ADSL.lite modems (3b1-3bk) and one telephone line (C).</p> |
