PROCESS FOR MONITORING PROCESSING PLANTS

A process is disclosed for monitoring and/or controlling processing plants with time-dependent processing parameters. The process has the following steps: (a) the desired time-dependent processing parameters are measured in the form of measurement curves; (b) time-independent, numerical measurement values are generated from the measured processing parameters; and (c) the time-independent, numerical measurement values are supplied to a classifier which distinguishes between normal and abnormal states of the processing plant.
