A power station, in particular a tidal power station for utilising water power and possibly wind power and solar energy, comprises at least one unit (16') essentially prefabricated from concrete, is tightly closed at least except for a roof and can be transported to a construction site. The transportable unit contains at least one turbine (29) together with a tube (67) or duct in which the turbine is fitted.
