Control system for road vehicle with electric drive, especially city bus

A procedure for controlling a road vehicle with electric drive, especially a city bus, has one or more wheels driven by an electric motor. There is with an electric brake plus a control circuit. Upon exceeding a first given threshold value (1) of the speed of the motor, the drive torque is reduced and with further increase of the speed, is reduced to zero. Upon exceeding a second given threshold value (3) of the speed which is bigger than the first one, the electric brake is switched on and exerts the maximum braking torque with increasing speed up to a limiting value (4).
