Rubber sealing profile for glass wall

The sealing profile has a U- or C-shaped cross-section to take the glass wall and fit into a window frame. The profile has slits in the core (2) and wings (3) with each slit (5) extending continuously from the center of the core to a seam strip (4) and is inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the profile. Each slit is separated from the corresponding slit in the other wing by a material bridge or fastening point (6) worked into the center of the core. An Independent claim describes manufacturing profile by forming a continuous profile which is then opened before it is pushed through under a cutting tool which makes the slits.
