<p>The system to guide airborne textile matter, at machines to prepare material for spinning, has a main channel where it is carried pneumatically into at least one of two branch channels with switch flaps (18,19) at the walls (3a,3b) of the branch channels (14,15) covering the air feed openings (22,23). The openings (22,23) are opened and closed by the position of the flaps (18,19). At least one pneumatic cylinder gives the swing movements to the flaps (18,19). The size of the openings (22,23) can be adjusted by slides. A seal, of rubber and the like, is between each flap (18,19) and its opening (22,23) at the side of the opening (22,23) towards the flap (18,19). For the movement from the main channel (13) into both of the branch channels (14,15), the wall surfaces (3a,3b) with the air feed openings (22,23) and the flaps (18,19) are at an acute angle to each other. For a movement into one branch channel, one flap (18,19) acts as a hermetic seal for one branch channel (14,15), while the other flap covers the wall opening (22,23). The pneumatic cylinders are connected to the swivel joints (20,21) of the flaps (18,19).</p> |
