<p>A container that provides for drainage of fluid underneath a product label on the container is provided. The container comprises a central label portion, a bottom portion below the central label portion, and at least one drainage port (40). Each drainage port (40) comprises two ridges (20) forming a groove (10) through which fluid can drain from the central label portion to the bottom portion of the container. At a cross-sectional area of a container at the level of the drainage ports (40), the container has an outer surface (50) at a radial distance from the longitudinal axis of the container. Preferably, each groove (10) is located at the same radial distance as that of the outer surface (50) of the container.</p> |
