PURPOSE:To provide a fruit tray which can easily respond to slight variations in the diameter or shape of fruits such as peach, pear, apple, etc., placed in the fruit tray and can ensure the protection of the contents by retaining the fruits stably in the tray in such a manner as to keep them free from stress and looseness. CONSTITUTION:A fruit tray having a number of storing recess parts 1 is of a two layer structure made up of an inner soft layer 2 and an outer resin layer 3 relatively retainable in shape and the inner soft layer 2 and the outer resin layer 3 are joined together on at least a bottom part 4 of the storing recess part 1 in a manner wherein a gap 7 is formed between these two layers extending along the upper side wall of the storing recess part 1 from its opening part 5 and wherein the soft layer 2 can be elastically deformed within the range of the gap 7, whereby the differences in diameter between the fruits are absorbed to stably retain even the fruits slightly smaller in diameter. |
