PURPOSE:To freely display a stereoscopic image without deteriorating the stereoscopic effect and without degrading the quality of the image by placing plural unit gratings, which have mutually different parallactic regions, in the moving direction of curves. CONSTITUTION:A diffraction grating which makes one basic dot of a diffraction grating image is constituted by arranging plural unit diffraction gratings, that are constituted by the group of plural lines made up of moving curves in parallel and have mutually different parallactic regions, in the moving direction of the curves. Moreover, the diffraction gratings, that made the parallel movement on the curves, are divided into three regions in the direction of the movement of the curves and are divided into three regions in the normal direction to the movement of the curves, tataling nine regions r1, r2,...r9. When the diffraction gratings, that consist of dots, are to be made up by the diffraction gratings which are made by the parallel movement on (n) curves, respective inclinations and the movement pitches of the curves are obtained, for example, from changes OMEGA11, OMEGA21, OMEGA22... of the respective curves. |
