<p>The machine comprises a feeder (2) for a lengthwise support (3), a positioning unit (4) for the bulbs, and a dispenser (5) for the twine which is wound in a spiral around the bulb stems and support. A transporter unit (6) for the bulb string, containing an endless conveyor (7), has its' concave supporting surface turned upwards and leading on to a horizontal section. The conveyor and pressure element are of endless belt type with guide rollers.</p> |
