<p>PURPOSE: To improve the shape stability by jointing a wrap sheet having compression parts in specified positions with a liquid permeable top sheet and/or a liquid impermeable back sheet and jointing an absorbent core with a wrap sheet by means of adhesive agent impregnated in the compression parts. CONSTITUTION: A sanitary napkin is equipped with the liquid permeable top sheet 1, liquid impermeable back sheet 3 and the absorbent core 5 put between the sheets 1, 3 to absorb liquid excreta from the body as well as wrap sheets 11, 13 to respectively surround a pair of confronting edges 7, 9 of the core 5. In the wrap sheets 11, 13 the compressions parts 15, 17 one fathers compressed together with the core 5 in thickness direction of the core 5. The core 5 of each compressed parts 15, 17 is impregnated with an adhesive agent in which the fiber of the core 5 are glued together as well as the core 5 and the back sheet 3 as wrap sheets 11, 13 are glued together.</p> |
