One end of central member for suction of evaporating substance upwards is inserted in reservoir and in heating assembly. heating assembly is ring-shaped. It is provided with transformless exothermic body. The latter is thermal resistor with positive temperature coefficient of resistance. Its volt-ampere characteristics includes section of at least 100-240 V of applied voltage which satisfies definite condition. Device makes it possible to maintain constant temperature of heat production and constant volume of liquid consumption. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 tbl, 8 dwg
