PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure data backup in an SDH(synchronous digital hierarchy) transmitter consisting of plural packages. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a storing package 6 with a nonvolatile memory part 7. A managing package 2, at the time of changing set data to latch the latching part 10 of transmitting packages 81 to 8n, writes newest set data in both of its own operating memory part 4 and the part 7. In addition at the time of updating managing data within the part 4, its copy in the part 7 is updated at the same time. At the time of exchanging the package 2 generating a fault, the package 2 after exchange reads backup data from the part 7 through a managing common bus 1 to write in the part 43 and restores original data. At the time of exchanging the packages 81 to 8n generating the fault, the package 2 resets set data by using backup data in the part 4. |
