<p>In an elevator door control system, attempts to close the door are suspended when an obstacle is detected by the array of sensors 3A, 3B. However, when smoke is detected by a sensor 5 or 5' the closure suspension function is inhibited. The aim is to prevent the lift being forced to remain on a floor where there is a fire when the obstacle detector 3A, 3B is erroneously activated by the smoke.</p> |
