PURPOSE:To drive the mobile part of an optical system in a scanning speed corresponding to a prescribed magnification, by driving said part with mobile part driving means containing a cam, and setting rotation speed of the cam to a given value in accordance with magnification change. CONSTITUTION:Roller 26 is fixed to the middle of the second mirror support 22, lever 27 for moving support 22 via roller 26 composes means 36 for driving the mobile part together with cam 31 and motor 33, and the rotation motion of cam 31 is converted into reciprocal linear motion to transmit it to roller 26 of the mobile part. Control circuit 44 of magnification change drive for driving means 36 in accordance with given magnification beta is connected to motor 33 of means 36, and rotation speed of cam 31 is set in accordance with change of scanning speed accompanied by magnification change, thus permitting revolution number of motor 33 to be set to a value corresponding to magnification beta and cam 31 to be rotated by a revolution number corresponding to copying action of photoreceptor 10. |
