<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desired sense of presence even from an operation on a game, and to attain highly precise control. SOLUTION: This input device is provided with a device body 2 having plural pressure sensing sensors 8 on an operation face 2a for outputting an analog signal from each pressure sensing sensor 8, and an A/D converter 3 connected with the device body 2 for converting the analog signal into a digital signal. This A/D converter 3 is connected through an interface 6 with a personal computer PC. When a contact pressure is added to each pressure sensing sensor 8 of the device body, the analog signal from the pressure sensing sensor corresponding to the contact pressure is converted into the digital signal by the A/D converter 3, and this signal is outputted through the interface to the computer. Therefore, not only the contact pressure but also the contact area can be detected. Thus, a large amount of information can be inputted from the device body, and a desired sense of presence can be obtained even from an operation on a game.</p> |
