PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a magnet having a further increased density by using a granular material manufactured by such a simple method that magnetic alloy powder, an epoxy resin which becomes a liquid at room temperature, and a resin binder composed of an acid anhydride curing agent which becomes a liquid at a room temperature are kneaded with each other and the kneaded material is compression molded after granulation. SOLUTION: A granular material is manufactured by kneading 98 wt.% super-quenched Nd12 Fe77 Co5 B6 (at.%) powder (having an average particle diameter of 150 μm) and 2 wt.% of resin binder prepared by mixing 40 wt.% bisphenol A type epoxy resin which becomes a liquid at a room temperature with 60 wt.% polydecanedioic acid anhydride (curing agent) which becomes a liquid at a room temperature in a kneading machine. Then, after the obtained kneaded product is granulated into a sheetlike granular material by using a roll compressing type granulating machine, the granular material is crushed into particles of <=0.8 mm in diameter by using a coarse crusher. Thereafter, the obtained particles are molded with a molding pressure of 10 t/cm<2> by using a press, and an isotropic bond magnet is manufactured by curing the molded bodies by heating the bodies for one hour at 150 deg.C in an Ar atmosphere. |
