PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission/reception method and a transmitter-receiver which do not generate parasitic waves near desired waves by using a single oscillation source for respective transmission part and reception part. SOLUTION: A frequency converter 1 subtracts the frequency of the first local signals of the output of a first local oscillator 4 from reception signals, frequency-converts them and outputs them to an intermediate frequency amplifier 2. A quadrature demodulator 3 uses a non phase shift component and a 90 deg. phase shift component for which the first local signals of the output of the first local oscillator 4 are frequency-divided in a variable frequency divider 5 and frequency-divided further in a 4 frequency divider 6 as local signals and generates demodulation signals from intermediate frequency signals. A quadrature modulator 11 uses the non phase shift component and the 90 deg. phase shift component for which the first local signals of the output of the first local oscillator 4 are frequency divided in the variable frequency divider 5 and frequency-divided further in the 4 frequency divider 6 as the local signals, converts modulation signals to the intermediate frequency signals and outputs them to the intermediate frequency amplifier 10. A frequency converter 9 adds/subtracts the intermediate frequency signals to/from the frequency of the first local signals of the output of the first local oscillator 4 and outputs frequency converted transmission signals. |
