PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of communication times between a client and a server, in a work flow managing system. SOLUTION: A pre-fetch/cache control part 123 of a library 122 operated by a client simultaneously obtains more pieces of information than the information obtain-requested by a function calling from an application program 121 from a server and stores it in a local storage 124 as cache information. It is possible to reduce the number of communicating times between the client and the server by information pre-fetch control such as this. In particular, it is possible to efficiently execute a pre-fetch control considering the feature of a work flow processing job by pre-fetching different information concerning the same task or job as information on an obtain-requested task or job by applying the same argument as a called function to each prefetching function. |
