PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microbicidal composition which exerts high microbicidal activity with comparatively low toxicity to plants and is particularly useful for controlling fungi belonging to oomycetes by making the composition include a specific N-acetonylbenzamide and a selected second microbicidal active compound. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) a microbicidal effective amount of a first microbicidal active compound of the formula (R<1> and R<3> are each a halogen or a 1-4C alkyl; R<2> is a 1-4C alkyl, a 2-4C alkenyl or the like; R<4> and R<5> are each H or a 1-4C alkyl, however, either one is a 1-4C alkyl: X is a halogen or the like) or its salt permissible on crop cultivation, (B) a microbicidal effective amount of a second microbicidal active compound selected from the group consisting of a respiratory inhibitor on cytochrome complex III, ziram, fluazinam or the like and (C) a carrier permissible on crop cultivation. For example, N-[3'-(1'-chloro-3'-methyl-2'-oxopentane)]-3,5-dichloro-4- methylbenzamide and phosphorous acid are used as the component A and the component B, respectively. |
