摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for improving SNR and/or resolution during color flow ultrasonic imaging. SOLUTION: Golay encoding excitation is used during transmission, and pulse compression is used during reception. In order to improve SNR, a pair of Golay encoding pulse sequences are transmitted alternately to the same transmission focal position over plural number of firings, and then beam-added data are partially decoded 32. The partially decoded data are vector-added 36 and high-pass filtered 10. The vector-added and high-pass filtered data are decimated to half by voluntary selection 38. Next, the data decimated or undecimated are supplied to a parameter estimating instrument 12, where imaging signals showing flow within a scanning plane are originated. Next, the imaging signals are displayed on a display monitor 18 as color information.
