PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor having advantage in miniaturization of a device by suppressing the wetting property of a photoreceptor surface and a foreign matter stuck, reducing a load and a mechanism required for cleaning and prolonging the life of the photoreceptor or the like. SOLUTION: The photoreceptor is constituted so as to be used for an image forming device where image forming is repeatedly made possible by an image forming process having a latent image forming process consisting of electrification and exposure for the photo-receptor, a process to form a toner image, the process to transfer the toner image on a transfer material and a cleaning process to remove the foreign matter from the surface of the photoreceptor. In this case, the surface free energy (γ) of the photoreceptor surface is regulated to be within the range of 35-65 (mN/m) and also the variationΔγof the surface free energy (γ) of the photoreceptor surface caused by endurance is regulated to be within 25 (mN/m).
