Date Apr. 3, 1997An electromagnetic simulator for testing the behavior of equipment in the presence of strong electromagnetic fields includes radiating horns at opposite sides of a test area. Each horn has a conducting septum asymmetrically positioned in the horns and extending forwardly into the chamber. Each conducting septum is coupled to a conducting array extending along a wall of the chamber so that each array establishes a corresponding electromagnetic field in the test area.
