<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a roller chain to exert excellent wear resistance and durability by suppressing partial run short of oil, efficiently utilizing the total amount of oil possessed by the roller chain, and reducing frictional resistance at the time of chain travel for a long time. SOLUTION: With this roller chain, a roller 16 is rotatably fitted on an oil-impregnated sintered bush 14 coaxially and loosely fitted on a connecting pin 12 of outer plates 11, and needle roller bearings 15, in each of which grease is sealed, are interposed between the oil-impregnated sintered bush 14 and the roller 16. In this case, since lubricating oil on the oil-impregnated sintered bush 14 side and grease on the needle roller bearing 15 side supply oil to each other, and the total amount of the grease and lubricating oil possessed by the roller chain is efficiently utilized, the roller chain can be used oilless for along time.</p> |
