<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interactive help system capable of making an inquiry in simple natural language, and providing an answer to a problem to be solved by a user with extremely high precision without displaying a lot of complicated items. SOLUTION: A predicate part in which an operation or processing related with an object indicating the object or function of a processing is described, and a descriptive content to be outputted corresponding to the predicate part are stored. The data of each object are stored in the format of a hierarchical object tree, and the name of the object inquired by a user is retrieved from the object tree. When this object name is present, the predicate part inquired by the user is retrieved for the object in a level higher than the level of the object, and when the predicate part is present, the descriptive content corresponding to the predicate part is outputted as an answer to the inquiry of the user.</p> |
