<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic warehouse simulation device and f method for simulating the cargo storage size of an automatic warehouse. SOLUTION: A warehousing simulation control means 5 operates a warehousing device 22 to warehouse a cargo waiting for warehousing by a preset warehousing tact, and outputs an instruction for updating the number of stocks. A shipping simulation control means 6 operates a shipping device 23 to ship a cargo waiting for shipping by a preset shipping tact, and outputs an instruction for updating the number of stocks. An inventory information simulation updating means 7 updates the number of stocks in a storing device 21 by an instruction, calculates the volume of stocks, and calculates the specified numerical volume of stocks in the storing device within a simulation period based on the volume of the stocks and the preset simulation period. A cargo storage size calculating means B adds a safe number of stocks to the calculated specified numerical volume of stocks to calculate a cargo storage size, and outputs this as the result of simulation.</p> |
