PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drilling tool which can be rapidly and simply attached, in the axial line direction, to a tool holder and can be manufactured economically, and also the tool holder which can hold such a drilling tool fittingly. SOLUTION: The drilling tool is equipped with a fitting end part having a guide area 10 and an engagement area 11, which protrudes in the radial direction from the guide area 10. The guide area 10 has guide faces 101, 102 extending on the outer periphery of the guide area 10, and the engagement area 11 has engagement faces 111, 112 extending almost perpendicularly with the axial line, in the longitudinal direction, of the drilling tool. The engagement area 11 is of a non-circular cross section shape. |
