PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic capable of exhibiting excellent prevention and/or improvement of wrinkle formation by compounding a specified compound such as the one discovered in metabolites of germs belonging to the genus Isaria, the genus Mycelia or the like. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by including one or more than two selected form the compounds of formula I [R<1> and R<3> are each an optionally acylated hydroxyl group; R<2> is carboxyl; R<4> is H or hydroxyl group; R<5> is H or an acyl; R<6> is a group of formula II (X is a group of CO, CH2 or the like) or hydroxylethyl],γ-lactones and physiologically permissible salts thereof. Myriocin of formula III is particularly preferable as the compound of formula I. The myriocin is obtained as a culture solution and/or its refined product of one or more than two selected from microbes belonging to the genus Isaria, the genus Mycelia or the genus Myriococcum.
