PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin electrochemical device having high volume efficiency, high weight efficiency and high heat resistace and allowed to be used as a surface mounted part. SOLUTION: This electrochemical, device has two metal plates respectively, having recessed parts 21a, 21b at least on one side as package halves 2a, 2b, both the package halves 2a, 2b are stuck to each other through a ring-like resin layer 3 which constitutes of a fusible resin and having at least a surface layer part consisting of thermoplastic engineering plastic, the insides of the recessed parts 21a, 21b are hermetically sealed and an electrochemical device element is sealed into the recessed parts 21a, 21b. |
