PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the separation efficiency of a separation/collection mechanism having a decanter constant by regulating the viscosity of an used slurry. SOLUTION: In this system, a slurry is adjusted by mixing a whetstone grains with a dispersion liquid in a mixing tank 54 and the slurry is supplied to a wiresaw. The used slurry is carried to a separation and collection mechanism having a decanter and the usable whetstone grains and dispersion liquid are separated/collected from the used slurry by the centrifugal force of the decanter and returned them to the mixing tank 54 and used again. The viscosity of the used slurry is detected by a viscosimeter 80 and based on the detection result, the temperature of the used slurry is regulated by a temperature regulator 81 and the viscosity is adjusted so that the separation efficiency is nearly constant. |
