PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus for injection molding in-mold decorating wherein a cycle time is shortened and feeding of an in-mold decorating sheet on a mold is stabilized. SOLUTION: After an in-mold decorating sheet S is fed on a mold, the in- mold decorating sheet is heated at its heat distortion temp. or higher and after it is made to be laid along the cavity face of the mold by drawing a vacuum from the inside of the mold, the mold is clamped and a resin is injected to adhere the in-mold decorating sheet with the resin. In the technology for the injection molding simultaneous in-mold decorating, before the in-mold decorating sheet is fed on the mold, the in-mold decorating sheet is preheated at a temp. below the heat distortion temp. by a preheater 4.
