PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly correct a density irregularity in a method for forming a density irregularity correction table used in an IJ type printer apparatus by processing data so that any ink color is not quantized roughly from an RGB full-color data image from which a print pattern is read. SOLUTION: An IJ type printer apparatus includes an external calculator and a printed matter read device. A pattern of a plurality of gradations of each ink color printed by a printer is read in RGB full colors at the printed matter read device. One data of the highest sensitivity is selected from the RGB data, and a correction table is formed with the use of only the selected data. The correction table is formed also with the use of R+G+B data. A density irregularity of a Yellow ink or an Orange ink of a special color, etc. keenly sensitive, particularly to a B filter can be properly corrected accordingly. |
