PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability against an unfair use of a prepaid card and to carry out inquiring contents of the prepaid card by a local computer provided at every store using the prepaid card. SOLUTION: When a prepaid card is purchased, a registration such as unique card numbers, which is given to each prepaid card, is given to a local computer 17 provided at a store for selling prepaid cards and a selling price is further memorized in the computer. On the other hand, when the prepaid card is used at the store for selling the prepaid cards or at chain stores therefor, a use of the prepaid card is judged by referring to the local computer for the card members. When the prepaid card is valid, the balance for using the prepaid card is managed by the local computer 17. |
