PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic separator with a spiral magnetic pole which is suitable for removing a magnetically attracted material or a magnetically not-attracted material from a raw material with a higher grade. SOLUTION: The magnetic separator 10 is equipped with a hollow drum 17 consisting of nonmagnetic material, many magnets forming magnetic poles which are arranged in the inside of the hollow drum 17 while keeping a little opening, and a supporting member for supporting the many magnets. The hollow drum 17 is rotated relatively for the magnetic poles fitted to the supporting member. The magnetic poles are spirally fitted to the supporting member and also the spirally fitted adjacent magnetic poles are made to different poles. |
