PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a suction balance of a range hood and to miniaturize the range hood, by disposing an inner sleeve coaxially with an outer sleeve, and discharging a swirling air flow which is sucked into the inside of the outer sleeve by way of flow passages defined between swirling vanes by way of the inner sleeve. SOLUTION: This cyclone dust collector 5 includes an outer cylinder 5a of a circular cross section which has one end thereof closed and the other end thereof opened. An inner sleeve 5b of a circular cross section which has both end opened is disposed coaxially with the outer sleeve 5a. Air flows into an annular air inlet opening 5c from the upper end of the outer sleeve 5a of the cyclone dust collector 5 and is sucked into the inside of the outer sleeve 5a downwardly after passing through passages formed between swirling vanes 5d. The swirling vanes 5d are arranged in a spaced apart manner from each other in a circumferential direction. Since the swirling vanes 5d are disposed in an inclined manner relative to a central axis of the outer sleeve 5a, the air flow which has passed through the passages formed between the swirling vanes 5d forms a downward swirling air flow. The swirling air flow from which oil drops or the like are removed is sucked into the inside of the inner sleeve 5b as an upward swirling air flow from the lower end of the inner sleeve 5b and is discharged from the cyclone dust collector 5 through the inner sleeve 5b. |
