摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently elute minerals by including a zeolite as fine granular material having a specific average particle diameter and an alkali ion forming substance as constituent materials in which the zeolite and the alkali ion forming substance are baked to constitute a sintered compact. SOLUTION: A zeolite is preferably a naturally-occurring zeolite having 0.1-40 μm average particle diameter. An alkali ion forming substance is a substance capable of eluting an alkali ion in a contact state with water and contains one or more substances each forming preferably Na ion, K ion, Ca ion and Mg ion, respectively. The composition of a ceramic has preferably 10-99 wt.% of the zeolite and 1-90 wt.% of the alkali ion forming substance. The ceramic can be optionally mixed with a fibrous mineral and a clay mineral as constituent materials. Sepiolite is preferably cited as the fibrous mineral and a kaolin mineral is preferably cited as the clay mineral. The average particle diameter of the clay mineral is preferably 0.1-40 μm.
