PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device for the magnetic fields of a living body, for detecting weak magnetic fields while accurately and stably eliminating interfering magnetic fields. SOLUTION: A measuring device for the magnetic fields of a living body includes a plurality of SQUID fluxmeters 11, 12 for detecting the magnetic fields of a living body which are generated from the subject of examination (living body) 1, a cryostat 2 keeping the SQUID fluxmeters at low temperatures, and a display means 6 for displaying the distribution of the detected magnetic fields of the living body. The device has a coil 3 placed around the cryostat and has a control means 4 for controlling the magnitude of current flow in the coil 3 according to the outputs of a single or plurality of reference SQUID fluxmeters 11 in the plurality of SQUID fluxmeters so that the outputs of the reference SQUID fluxmeters 11 are almost minimized. Therefore, maintenance and control of the device can be achieved at low cost with the use of a small amount of refrigerant. |
