<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a purified water by adding an unaerobic sludge containing a sulfuric acid reducing bacteria to a hexabalent chromium-containing waste water and executing the anaerobic treatment in a treating tank. SOLUTION: The hexavalent chromium-containing waste water is introduced to a reactor 1 (anaerobic treating tank) through a pipeline. An org. matter and a sulfate ion required to the anaerobic treating reaction are added and an alkali or acid is added from a pH adjusting tank 2 to adjust the waste water to a PH suitable for reaction. The pipeline is taken out to the outside from the midst of the upper part wall of the reactor 1, and the other end of the pipeline is connected to the pH adjusting tank and a circulating pump 3 is disposed in the mid-way. Moreover, a bacterial cell (sludge) discharging means 4 is provided at the bottom of the reactor 1, and a take-out pipe of a gas formed by an anaerobic fermentation is provided extendedly upward and a desulfurized gas is discharged to outside through a desulfurizing device 5 disposed in the mid-way of the take-out pipe and filled with a desulfurizing agent. A water subjected to the purifying treatment (treated water) is discharged by overflow at the upper part of the reactor 1.</p> |
