PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle with excellent operability, that the efficiency of an assembling work is excellent with a simple structure and plugs are surely engaged with a socket. SOLUTION: The buckle consists of a pair of plugs and the socket 20 and the respective plugs are provided with a strap fitting part, tongue pieces which are projectingly arranged in the strap fitting part and inserted to the socket and an engaging part. The socket 20 is provided with a putting-through part 22 where the respective tongue pieces are inserted and a fixed engaged part where the engaging part is engaged. An operating part 24 is also arranged, which is independently formed of the socket 20 so as to displace the engaging part and to release the engagement of the engaging part with the engaged part. The operating part 24 is provided with an operating piece 24a exposed on the outer front surface of the operating hole 21 of the socket 20, a pressurizing part 24b integrally formed at the rear surface side of the operating piece 24a and a lock part 27 to be locked to the socket 20 and an elastic part 25 which is abutted on one of the operating piece 24a or the socket 20 so as to energize the operating part 24 outward is disposed in the other one of them. |
