PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent compsn. improved in the exothermic property and the stability, by including an activated zeolite, a polyhydric alcohol, a polyhydric alcohol-soluble polymeric compd. and a surfactant. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises 1-60 wt.%, pref. 5-50 wt.% of such an activated zeolite as obtained by baking and dehydrating a zeolite original substance at 300-600 deg.C and storing in a dry air and also as having a particle dia. of 0.1-200μm; 1-90 wt.%, pref. 10-80 wt.% of a polyhydric alcohol; 0.01-10 wt.%, pref. 0.1-3 wt.% of a polyhydric alcohol-soluble polymeric compd., i.e., an acrylic acid/methacrylic ester copolymer, of the formula [wherein R<1> is H or methyl; R<2> is a 10-30C alkyl, ethylenoxy with a degree of polymerization of 5-200, or a moiety of either sugar (chain) or sugar alcohol; x is 50-99.9 mole %; and y is 0.1-50 mole %]; 1-50 wt.%, pref. 2-30 wt.% of an anionic, cationic, amphoteric, or nonionic surfactant; and if necessary 0.1-30 wt.%, pref. 0.5-20 wt.% of an inorganic salt. |
