PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition capable of exhibiting high toughness, water resistance and chemical resistance without generating formalin and useful as an adhesive for non-woven fabrics by using a vinylidene chloride-based copolymer having (meth)acrylate ester units. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains as a main component (A) a vinylidene chloride-based copolymer comprising 70-90 wt.% of vinylidene chloride units, 10-30 wt.% of alkyl (meth)acrylate ester units (the alkyl group has eight or more carbon atoms) and 0-20 wt.% of the other copolymerizableα,β-ethylenic unsaturated monomer (for example, a vinyl ester compound, an aromatic or heterocyclic vinyl compound or a diene compound). Therein, the copolymer A is prepared so as to have a glass transition temperature of <=5 deg.C and a crystal-melting temperature of >=110 deg.C, and is used in a latex-like state. |
