<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute at low cost the whole device and enable miniaturization by providing a switch means selectively connecting any one of element antennas in a circuit generating a bead signal in a receiving part. SOLUTION: A radar device is provided with a transmission part 1, an array antenna 2, a changeover switch part 3, a receiving circuit part 4 and a digital signal processing part 5. A receiving part is constituted of the array antenna 2, the changeover switch part 3 and the receiving circuit part 4. With regard to the radar device, the array antenna 2 comprising a plurality of element antennas is used as a receiving antenna, a signal received by each element antenna is digitized, subjected to conversion in the post-stage digital signal processing part 5 for the phase and amplitude, and directivity of the receiving antenna is formed by compositing the signal of all element antenna channels. Accordingly, if the conversion amount of the phase and amplitude is changed properly to be converted for the signal captured temporally, desired beam operation can be performed.</p> |
