PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop water flowing in a longer direction of a steel sheet pile during water cooling to prevent the water from flowing in pressed parts by cooling the steel sheet pile by water from the upper side of the steel sheet pile, and arranging a water-stopping means to stop water flowing in a longer direction of the steel sheet pile. SOLUTION: A steel sheet pile heated and running, wherein a corrosionproof polyolefin layer is pressed and adhered through a modified polyolefin resin layer therebetween, is cooled by water from an upper side thereof, and a water- stopping means to stop water flowing in a longer direction of the steel sheet pile is arranged. Concretely, a suction port 6 is lowered near a web part, and a remaining water suction/drain pump 7 is operated to suck accumulated water. When the steel sheet pile 1 further advances and a rear end thereof passes a jet nozzle 4 of an entering side, flowing down of the cooling water and the suction/drain pump 7 are stopped. Right-side water flow on the web part 9 is inhibited by a jet nozzle 5 of a discharging side, and flows from the rear end of the steel sheet pile 1 to a well 8. |
