PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the packaging shape for an ink cartridge suitable for the environment not using an aluminum composite film in which the evaporation amount of water content in ink is small and ammonia generated from an ink component and filled in the package can be reduced to a large extent. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge packaging shape is provided with a metal container 1 formed of a steel plate with its surface coated with rust-proof varnish, an easy-peeling film cover 2 composed of a copolymer of polyethylene containing 10% vinyl acetate or more and vinyl acetate and having a bonded layer of 50μm thickness or more and a silica deposit film and a biodegradable cushioning material 3 disposed in the container.
