<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve theft preventiveness by releasing regulation of a stopper means to a lock means when normally using a steering lock device at nondestruction time of a housing, and releasing locking on the stopper means at destruction time of the housing. SOLUTION: When normally using a steering lock device 10 at nondestruction time of a housing 1, a locking bar 40 being a stopper locking means is put in a state of engaging the locking recessed part 32A of a stopper plate 32 being a stopper means to release regulation of the stopper plate 32 to a lock bar 18. At destruction time of the housing 11, the locking bar 40 is released from the locking recessed part 32A of the stopper plate 32, and the stopper plate 32 is fitted to an inserting hole 28 of the lock bar 18 by a compression spring 34 so that the stopper plate 32 regulates a lock releasing directional movement of the lock bar 18.</p> |
